About us   

Flowers by Post is part of Cornucopia Florals, which has been a family run business since November 2000.  We are committed to customer satisfaction by providing ‘best quality’ products.  Our business address is based at: - 5 Park Road, Milnthorpe, Cumbria, LA7 7AD.  We would welcome any comments, suggestions and feedback by e-mail.  All correspondence to be addressed to Business Manager – Julie Watkinson.  See our Contact page for full details.

 

How to buy

 

Flowers by Post delivers within UK only. Orders from outside UK for delivery to a UK address are accepted.  Minimum total order value is £20.00.  Please follow directions on product pages or see How to order page. 

All orders are currently accepted in £ sterling only.  We accept all major credit/debit card payments or payment by cheque made payable to Cornucopia, addressed to 5 Park Road, Milnthorpe, Cumbria LA7 7AD.  Outside of UK, payment is accepted only by credit/debit card offline.  Please note Flowers by Post reserves the right to refuse any order.

Deliveries will not be made until payment has been received.  For credit/debit card payments this will be when payment has been confirmed by our bank (usually within 24 hours).  In the case of cheques, this will be when our bank confirms payment completion (usually 5/7 days depending on bank).

Postage and packing are  included to UK & Ireland destinations.  All deliveries are currently sent through UK Royal Mail/Parcel Force Standard Service next day delivery, unless other special arrangements are made with the Business Manager by e-mail.. 

 
Privacy policy  

Flowers by Post are committed to protecting your privacy.  We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice (now disbanded).  The details that we will hold are your name and address, contact telephone number, e-mail address, recipient's name and address, and the item(s) you have ordered, and will be securely stored on our database.  Credit/debit card details are not stored on any database.  We will not contact you regarding any of our products unless requested by yourself.  Your details are not supplied to any person outside of Flowers By Post and are used solely in the processing of your order.  Contact name for privacy policy is Julie Watkinson, Business Manager.

 
Guarantee  

For any items received by our customers that have been damaged in transit or are faulty, please notify us within 24 hours following receipt of purchase, either by telephone/fax - 015395 64340, or by e-mail or by post - Cornucopia, 5 Park Road, Milnthorpe, Cumbria LA7 7AD.  We will then make arrangements to either replace or refund purchase price within 10 days.  This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

If you are not absolutely delighted with your purchase  please inform us within 24 hours following receipt of purchase, either by telephone/fax - 015395 64340, or by e-mail or by post - Cornucopia Florals, 5 Park Road, Milnthorpe, Cumbria LA7 7AD.  Please return the goods (in perfect condition) to Cornucopia Florals, 5 Park Road, Milnthorpe, Cumbria LA7 7AD within 3 days from date of notification.  Return postage to be paid by the customer.  In the event of goods not returned at customer's expense, a deduction will be made from the refund price to cover Cornucopia's direct cost to collect the goods.  Refunds within 30 days of notification. This will not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

  Customer Support & Services  
  Cornucopia Florals aims to meet customer needs and requirements.  However, in event of any complaint – please contact us as above, (answer machine checked regularly).  Your call will be returned within 24 hours, when we will advise a timescale for the complaint to be resolved.  (Calls charged at BT standard rates from a landline within UK.  Charges will vary for calls outside of UK or from a mobile phone.)
